The Concerned Citizens and Retired Miner Coalition is hosting a Picnic and rally at Oak Flat Campground this weekend as part of World Earth Day.

Please join us at Oak Flat.

The celebration starts Friday afternoon, April 20 and goes through the Day on Saturday April 21.

The picnic will be held at the Oak Flat campgrounds at the first campsite under the big oaks.

To get to Oak Flat Campground, go east of the town of Superior on Highway 60 to the top of the flat and turn south at the Oak Flat Campround sign.  Follow the signs to the campground.  Oak Flat is about an hour east of the Phoenix area.

This is an informational, educational, social sharing event and fun for the whole family.  Come celebrate the beauty of the Oak Flat Campground and surrounding areas.  Meet new friends, hike historic trails, play field games, roast marshmallows by campfire and listen to the “other side of the Story.”

Plates, napkins, utensils, grills, water, hotdogs, chips and marshmallows will be provided,  Please bring any other food, beverages, chairs, canopies, etc…  Donations and contributions are welcome.
